K-pop boy group TST's member Kyeongha decided to leave his group after getting sentenced for sexual assault.

Previously in his first trial on May 24, Kyeongha was sentenced to a year and a half in prison with three years of probation along with 40 hours of a program for sexual offenders.

On June 11, TST's management agency JSL Company released a statement on the official website for the group's fans.

JSL Company said, "The members of TST are currently mentally exhausted as the group's promotion suddenly came to a halt. Therefore, Kyeongha personally expressed his desire to leave the group in order to avoid causing trouble to the rest of the members."

They continued, "The decision has been carefully made after we discussed the matter with TST members and Kyeongha. Kyeongha strongly insisted on wanting to focus on revealing the truth that is different to what has been spread to the world."

Then, they concluded the statement by saying, "We sincerely apologize for causing trouble to fans, and we will make sure to update Kyeongha's case in the future. We ask for continuous support and love for TST. Thank you."

Back in April 2017, Kyeongha's acquaintance 'A' filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that he sexually assaulted her in December 2014.

A couple of days after being sentenced for sexual assault in the first trial, Kyeongha and JSL Company filed an appeal against the court's decision.
