On May 17, a press conference for tvN's new romance drama 'About Time' was held in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.During the press conference, Lee Sang Yun commented on the age difference between him and the female lead actress Lee Sung Kyoung.
Lee Sang Yun said, "She's only nine years younger than me. The age gap isn't that big. Okay, it is slightly big."
The actor continued, "Lee Sung Kyoung was cast for this drama before me. The director told me that a lot of people would probably want to see us together as we are both tall. Apparently, our average height is 180cm."Even though Lee Sang Yun sounded confident about his appearance until this moment, he laughed and said, "But I felt like I had to do something, because Lee Sung Kyoung is incredibly pretty. I didn't want to look unattractive next to her."He added, "I actually went on a diet to lose some weight. Also, I regularly attend facial treatment sessions, and put more time and effort into styling myself these days."'About Time' is a fantasy romance drama that tells the story of Choi Michaela (Lee Sung Kyoung), who has the ability to see people's life expectancy as well as her own, and Lee Do-ha (Lee Sang Yun), the only person who can stop the countdown to the end of her life.
The first episode of 'About Time' is expected to air on May 21.
