On November 7, a relevant source released an interview with Lee Jong Hyun, who recently starred in KBS2 drama 'Girls' Generation 1979'.
During the interview, Lee Jong Hyun revealed, "Love comes before anything else."
He also said how he is not a 'good man', saying, "I'm a good person but not a good man. But if someone asks me whether I'm a good man, I don't think I can say 'Yes I am.'"
Then he said, "So I want to change myself. I think I still have some time to change myself."
When an interviewer asked about the definition of a good man, Lee Jong Hyun answered, "You should do your best to your partner, focus on your partner, empathize with her, share everything you feel, and be respectful of the person."
He also added, "As time goes by, it feels like I'm losing even the minimum of respect. So I'm always regretful." and reflected on himself.
Moreover, he revealed, "Dating takes up a huge part of my life. But I've only been failing so far. I'm regretful of not giving much to the partner because when it comes to love if I do well to the partner it comes back to me. But I'm always regretful of how I couldn't hold my feelings and didn't try my best."
In addition, Lee Jong Hyun revealed the secret behind his catchy lyrics. He said, "I always write my regrets in my lyrics that I even received calls from my ex-girlfriends. One person even called me and cursed at me randomly and asked whether I'm writing a journal to someone."
Lastly, he concluded his interview, "I want to try my best in both love and work. As I think of time as gold, I'm trying my best to accept emotions."
