Kim Hee Won sat down with a news outlet for an interview about Disney+'s original series 'Light Shop' at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, on December 20.
Based on cartoonist Kang Full's webcomic of the same title, 'Light Shop' follows the events surrounding a light shop at the end of a dark alleyway and its customers with secrets.
In the series, Park Bo Young plays 'Kwon Young-ji', an intensive care unit nurse who takes care of patients in critical condition.

Kim Hee Won said the rumors were "groundless" at the time, stressing that Park Bo Young was only a close hoobae.
"It was crazy the day the rumors broke.", Kim Hee Won said when asked about his past romance rumors with Park Bo Young during the interview.
"I've got the flu back then. While feeling under the weather, I noticed my phone ringing constantly. I checked the phone, and there were over eighty missed calls. I asked my manager and figured out what was happening."
"I got a call from Bo Young, asking, 'Sunbae-nim, what should we do?'. 'Say it's not true.', I replied and hung up. Then, this time, I got another call from my manager saying we had to release an official statement regarding the rumors. The whole thing was ridiculous."
"I said it wasn't true because that's what it was. It wasn't a big deal to me anyway.", Kim Hee Won said.
Kim Hee Won continued, "With this series, I had the opportunity to participate in a casting meeting for the first time. Many people gathered, from producers to the production company personnel."
"With a list full of actors pulled out, the discussion began. That got me thinking about the kind of assessments I would have received as an actor in such meetings.", he said and chuckled.
