Director Yeon Sang-ho’s new film "Colony" will hit theaters in May and has revealed its concept typography visual.

Set inside a locked-down building during a mysterious outbreak, "Colony" follows a group of isolated survivors battling infected people who evolve in unpredictable ways. The project has drawn buzz for its star-studded lineup: Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, Kim Shin-rok, and Go Soo.

The newly released concept typography shows infected bodies tangled together in white, mucus-like strands between the title letters, hinting at the birth of a never-before-seen species. It sparks curiosity about how the infected in the film transform into a single “collective” "Colony".

The image of the infected surging in one direction teases high-stakes showdowns and suspense between survivors and the evolving threat on the big screen.

As the latest from Yeon Sang-ho―who stunned global audiences with bold direction on genre touchstones like Train to Busan and the dystopian series Hellbound―"Colony" is already drawing major attention. Anticipation is also high for the ensemble chemistry of Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, Ji Chang-wook, Shin Hyun-bin, Kim Shin-rok, and Go Soo.

The film arrives in theaters this May.
