Joined by friends, the duo’s 15-year chemistry fuels a chaotic, feel-good adventure. Following “Three Idiots in Kenya,” this marks the Na Young-seok team’s second variety series on Netflix, heightening anticipation.
The teaser, released on the 24th, opens like a classic Western. “Texas is the trend in America now,” Lee declares as the crew sets off for his would-be second home. Dressed as cowboys and roaming across the state, their energy spikes the moment those brand-new boots go on―hinting at just how loose and lively this trip will be. With the grumbly guide “Mr. Lee” (Lee Seo-jin), a slightly shy younger bro Na Young-seok, and their crew, the Texas road trip is already stirring curiosity about what chaos awaits.
Calling Texas a destination “Lee Seo-jin really loves and has visited many times,” producer Na Young-seok said, “The key to this project is following Lee’s personal taste in travel. In a time overflowing with search results and info, a trip that doesn’t rely on other people’s views―but sticks to a clear, personal preference―will feel refreshing.”
Producer Kim Ye-seul added, “Dallas, Texas is a place Lee Seo-jin loves so much he’s said he wants to spend his later years there after retiring. Instead of a checklist of famous spots, the focus is getting a look at Lee’s lifestyle.
