On the February 22 episode of SBS’s "My Little Old Boy," Kim returned to the show after his discharge.
The broadcast captured his much-anticipated discharge, after he’d enlisted in the Marine Corps wondering, “Will 2026 really come?”
The panel beamed seeing Kim keep his promise to come back healthy and strong.
Seo Jang-hoon said, “He feels different. Before he left, we still saw him like a kid, but now he’s grown into a dependable man.”
Hong Jong-hyun added, “We threw him a farewell party before enlistment, and he’s even more solid now,” drawing attention.
Kim posed for discharge photos with the comrades he spent 18 months with. They teased the 29-year-old, saying, “Congrats in advance on entering your 30s.” Then they asked, “Can we call you hyung?”
“Of course,” Kim replied, and the group exchanged hugs. His buddies then joked, “You’ll introduce us to a girl group, right?” Kim answered, “Of course. I’ll handle everything,” sparking laughter.
