The February 15 (Sun.) episode of SBS’s "Running Man" spotlights members fighting to become the “magpie.” Depending on whether they’re “magpies” or “crows,” the members dive into a fierce status battle. Anticipation is high with KyuHyun―famous for his chemistry with the cast and often dubbed the show’s “eighth member”―and Roy Kim, making a triumphant return after 10 years, joining the chaos.
During the opening, KyuHyun powered through the biting winter cold to sing a number from the musical "Death Note," even getting teary as he kept the performance going. Roy Kim then flipped the mood with his signature emotional ballad, zeroing in on Ji Ye-eun’s heart and heating up the set.
The race, titled “I’m the Lunar New Year Magpie,” kicks off with a random draw that assigns three “magpies” and six “crows.” There’s a hidden twist in the draw that shakes up the early game and leaves the members buzzing. Magpies must hold their spots to the end, while crows try to steal them―only the final three magpies will win. Who will claim the coveted “magpie” seats?
The “I’m the Lunar New Year Magpie” race airs Sunday, February 15 at 6:10 p.m. on "Running Man".
