Park Na-rae, who recently paused her on-air activities following allegations raised by a former manager, has been keeping a low profile ― and heading back to class. The comedian was spotted attending a traditional liquor brewing program in Seoul.
On Jan. 23, Ilgan Sports photographed Park quietly making her way into a brewing institute in central Seoul. Wearing a wide-brimmed hat, she told the outlet, “I have class. It’s about to start, so I need to head in,” and when asked what she was studying, she reportedly added with a shrug, “Well, I gotta do something.”
The school specializes in traditional Korean liquors like makgeolli and dongdongju, offering everything from one-day workshops to advanced hands-on courses. Park is said to be enrolled in a makgeolli-making class.
Park has long showcased her love of hands-on hobbies on television ― from cooking and interior DIY to wallpapering, gardening, and floral design. In 2023, she prepped for and earned a wine sommelier certification on camera, drawing plenty of buzz.
In December, Park announced a hiatus after a dispute with former managers. She has since filed complaints accusing them of attempted extortion and embezzlement, while also saying she would take responsibility regarding a separate controversy involving an unlicensed injection provider.
