At the 2025 SBS Drama Awards, broadcast live from SBS Prism Tower in Seoul’s Sangam district on Dec. 31, Go Geon-han and Lee Sang-hee took home the Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress trophies in the Mini-Series (Melodrama) category.
Both actors earned rave notices for their scene-stealing turns in Love Scout, and on the night they stood side by side as supporting winners.
“I’m humbled to receive this with so many great seniors in the room,” Go said, his voice shaking.
He thanked the producers and his castmates, adding with a laugh, “Maybe it’s because I’ve done a lot of SBS dramas that I’m getting this tonight.”
Go then turned thoughtful. “I read the news about senior actor Ahn Sung-ki, and it broke my heart. My mother is also battling the same blood cancer. I truly believe both she and Ahn Sung-ki sunbaenim will recover. Mom, I’ll be right by your side―thank you,” he said, drawing a hush from the crowd.
Lee Sang-hee also expressed gratitude to the drama’s team and her fellow actors before reflecting on what the project meant to her. “This one is special to me,” she said.
“It was my second time working with Han Ji-min, and that alone made me so happy. Even though Jun-hyuk only had eyes for Ji-min on set, I only had eyes for you too,” she joked to Han, adding, “I hope we get to meet again and act together when we’re older.”
