'Single's Inferno' Lee Gwan-hee Sets His Own Dating Rules: "I Date When I Want to"

Im Won-hee joked about why he can’t seem to land a relationship.

On the Dec. 28 episode of SBS’s "My Little Old Boy," HeeChul and Im Won-hee hosted a Christmas party with pro basketball player Lee Gwan-hee, fresh off his buzzed-about run on "Single's Inferno."

As Lee walked in, HeeChul and Im teased, “You swept the votes on 'Single's Inferno' ― only the hottest people make it on. Was it the physique?”

Lee popped up to flex his build, drawing playful envy in the studio.

“This is a Christmas party for the truly single,” HeeChul said, adding that Tak Jae-hoon promised to bring someone “extra hot.”

Im then pressed Lee on whether he’s actually single. Lee answered coolly, “I take breaks when I want, and I date when I want,” making it clear he’s on his own timeline.

He added that he and HeeChul are cut from the same cloth. Im shot back, “So you’re saying I can’t date even when I want to?” He doubled down with a laugh: “I could date if I put my mind to it ― my standards are sky-high. Just like you, I can’t lower them.”

“Why would I lower them?” HeeChul replied with a grin, cracking up the room.
