&TEAM’s Japanese version of “Back to Life” has climbed straight to No. 1 on Oricon.
According to Oricon’s Daily Digital Single Ranking (dated Nov. 28, published Nov. 29), the track from &TEAM debuted at the top the day it was released. The group’s Korean mini-album previously hit No. 1 on Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking dated Oct. 28.
The momentum carried into a fan showcase on Nov. 30 at Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills Arena, celebrating the act’s million-seller milestone across Korea and Japan. About 2,000 raffle-selected fans packed the venue, while viewers from 147 countries and regions tuned in via Weverse. Across Weverse, YouTube and TikTok, the livestream peaked at roughly 116,000 concurrent viewers.
Onstage, &TEAM rolled out the Japanese version of “Back to Life” alongside mini-album cuts “Lunatic,” “MISMATCH” and “Who Am I.” Fresh off a strong run in Korea, the group also topped Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart (dated Nov. 29) and notched high entries across key Billboard charts, drawing even louder cheers from local fans.
“It’s all thanks to LUNÉ,” the nine members said during the showcase. “The past three years haven’t always been easy, but you stayed by our side―thank you. We’re thrilled to feel our performances reaching the world. This year we hit so many goals; next year we want to take our show to places we haven’t yet, including Europe and the U.S., and keep growing as &TEAM.”
To close out the year, &TEAM will take the stage at the Music Bank Global Festival in Japan, the 2025 SBS Music Awards, and NHK’s Kohaku Uta Gassen, wrapping 2025 with a flurry of high-profile appearances.
