Actor Jin Tae-hyun has shared the joyful news of his recovery from thyroid cancer.

On the 8th, Jin Tae-hyun took to his social media to announce, "I went to the hospital for a check-up two weeks after my surgery. Thanks to everyone's prayers and concerns, I'm in great health. To get straight to the point, my body is now free of cancer. I can say I've been cured through surgery."

Jin Tae-hyun shared his feelings, saying, "Thyroid cancer isn't considered one of the most dangerous cancers, but no cancer can be deemed safe. Naturally, having something like this can make anyone worried and anxious. I was no exception."

He continued, "My recovery from the surgery is completely normal. My voice and vocal cords are totally normal. My thyroid levels are completely normal. And most importantly, all the cancer has been removed without spreading to other organs. Everything is normal. I'll continue to go for check-ups diligently, but I won't need any further treatment or medication."

He added, "I'm returning to my normal life now. I'm grateful to all my friends, colleagues at work, and juniors who prayed for me. And I'm thankful to God for allowing me to reflect on my life and for guiding me through this entire process."

Jin Tae-hyun had previously announced in May, "I've been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and am scheduled for surgery. It was detected early, and although it's small, surgery is essential to prevent it from spreading to other areas." Following his surgery on the 24th of last month, he shared, "Thanks to everyone's concern, the cancer cells in my body have now disappeared."

Meanwhile, Jin Tae-hyun tied the knot with actress Park Si-eun in 2015.
