The agency of the group THE BOYZ, One Hundred Entertainment, has stood by its decision to terminate the contract with member JU HAKNYEON, who was at the center of controversy for an inappropriate meeting with a Japanese adult film star, stating that the action was justified.

On the 20th, JU HAKNYEON refuted allegations of solicitation on his social media, stating, "The reports of solicitation are not true, and I would like them to present evidence if they have any." He expressed his frustration by adding, "Despite there being no grounds for termination of the exclusive contract as specified, the agency is acting as though there are."

In response, One Hundred Entertainment stated, "We made the decision to suspend JU HAKNYEON's activities, recognizing the significant damage this incident could cause to the team's activities. After carefully assessing the situation, we made him fully aware that this incident falls under the clause of 'acts that damage the dignity of a public cultural artist to the extent that it hinders entertainment activities' as stated in Article 6, Section 3 of the exclusive contract, thus constituting a valid reason for termination."

The termination of JU HAKNYEON's exclusive contract was based on the stipulations of the contract, and was a legitimate and rational measure, according to the agency.

A representative emphasized, "The essence of this issue lies in JU HAKNYEON's avoidance of responsibility and his repeated distorted claims. Should these claims continue, we will take decisive legal action to prevent any damage and will submit all evidence and documentation to the legal authorities."

Furthermore, the agency added, "Following this statement, we will not respond to any of JU HAKNYEON's false claims. Activities for THE BOYZ, excluding JU HAKNYEON, will proceed as planned. We will do our utmost to protect the honor and rights of the remaining members."

Previously, it was belatedly revealed that JU HAKNYEON had a private meeting with a woman, who appeared in adult films, in a bar in Tokyo on the 30th of last month. The agency acknowledged this on the 18th and announced JU HAKNYEON's departure from the team and the termination of his exclusive contract.

While there were suspicions raised about JU HAKNYEON engaging in solicitation with this woman, he clarified, "I was indeed present at the bar with an acquaintance in the early hours, but I categorically deny any involvement in solicitation or any illegal activities as suggested by the articles or rumors."
