
Actor Lee Joon, 37, is making his first foray into musical theater since his debut.
Lee Joon will be playing the male lead, Kamiya Toru, in the musical "Even If This Love Disappears Tonight," which is based on an original work and will be performed worldwide for the first time.
Kamiya Toru is a tender character who wants to fill Maori's once-in-a-lifetime days with joyful memories. Alongside Lee Joon, Yoon So-ho and Kim In-sung have been cast in the role.
Having demonstrated solid acting skills in dramas and movies, Lee Joon has also ventured into variety shows like "2 Days & 1 Night Season 4" and "Jungle's Meal 2 - Caribbean Meal." There's growing anticipation to see if he will showcase his versatility as an entertainer on his first musical stage.
In "Even If This Love Disappears Tonight," the role of Hino Maori, who suffers from anterograde amnesia due to an accident but finds daily happiness with her 'boyfriend,' is played by Jang Min-je and Solbin.
This fresh and heart-fluttering youth romance musical, exploring the meaning of memories and the love that aspires for each other's tomorrows, will leave a profound aftertaste. "Even If This Love Disappears Tonight" will be performed at the COEX Artium Shinhan Card Hall from June 13 to August 24.
