Comedian Ji Sang-ryeol has shared his thoughts on stepping down from his role as host of the SBS radio show "If It's Hot, It's Ji Sang-ryeol" after three years.

From July 18, 2022, to April 6, 2025, Ji Sang-ryeol hosted the SBS LOVE FM show "If It's Hot, It's Ji Sang-ryeol." On April 6, he hosted his final broadcast from 4 PM to 6 PM. During the show, he shared heartfelt listener stories and played requested songs like "Hot Goodbye," "Meeting," "Time to Say Goodbye," and "A Farewell That's Not a Farewell" to wrap up the program.

On April 7, Ji Sang-ryeol's agency, A2Z Entertainment, stated, "For the past 993 days, the hours from 4 to 6 PM were the most passionate times in Ji Sang-ryeol's life. Just as the hottest steel becomes stronger when quenched in cold water, we hope to meet listeners again with even more laughter and joy."

They added, "We want to express our gratitude to the production team who shared these moments daily with Ji Sang-ryeol and, most importantly, to the listeners who made each day special with 'If It's Hot, It's Ji Sang-ryeol.'"

Ji Sang-ryeol was known for his relaxed hosting style and his ability to energize the often sluggish afternoon hours. Despite being a daily program, he consistently showcased his unique wit and charm, earning him the nickname "The Alchemist of Words."

"If It's Hot, It's Ji Sang-ryeol" was beloved for its segments that combined entertainment with informative content. The show featured a variety of guests over the years, including medical experts like Dr. Hong Sung-woo and Dr. Kim Ji-yeon, voice actor Park Ji-yoon, attorney Ko Seung-woo, comedians Park Hwi-soon, Heo Anna, and Kang Jae-joon, announcers Kim Ki-hyuk and Jo Eun-na-rae, culinary researcher Hong Shin-ae, singer Bae Ki-sung, science communicator Kwak Jae-sik, and child actress Kim Gyu-na.

Meanwhile, Ji Sang-ryeol continues to appear regularly on KBS's "Mr. House Husband" and JTBC's "Oh! My Holic." He is also active in various projects, including the recently released OTT show "Baseball Representatives 2" on TVING and his short-form comedy series "Human Sang-ryeol Style" on social media.
