Previously, Choi Daniel appeared alongside actress Jeon So-min in episodes like 'Sorry for Team Killing' and 'My Perfect Consumption,' showcasing a more laid-back and humorous side that contrasted with his usual polished image in dramas. His antics earned him the nickname 'Kwang Daniel,' a playful nod to Lee Kwang-soo, and he became a hot topic.
Choi Hyung-in, the PD of 'Running Man,' commented on Choi Daniel's addition, saying, "He has a neat appearance but is full of surprises and loves to talk even more than the regular members. From his first recording as a temporary member, he blended in seamlessly. You can look forward to his even more dynamic presence."
The temporary member system in 'Running Man' is a first in the television show world, with actors like Kang Hoon and Ji Ye-eun having participated before. Ji Ye-eun is now a permanent member, actively contributing to the show.
Choi Daniel's episodes as a temporary member will air on 'Running Man' on Sunday, the 6th of next month, at 6:10 PM.
