Set to air on March 13, SBS' 'Jungle Bob 2' will showcase the explosive passion and chemistry of the cast members, who are willing to do anything for ingredients for their cooking.
First, the cast of 'Jungle Bob 2' enter the ultimate wild zone of Peru, the 'Amazon Village,' where they embark on a life-or-death hunt to catch the 'man-eating fish' piranhas.
Previously, Chef Choi Hyun-seok, who challenged himself to catch a 'giant squid' in the vast Pacific Ocean, and actress Kim Ok-bin, transformed into an 'Amazon warrior', jump into the heart of the Amazon River to hunt piranha.
The studio MCs react with shock, saying things like, "They could lose a finger if they're not careful," and "Aren't they going to become piranha's dinner?"
As the situation escalates into a fierce battle with the piranha, the boat quickly turns into a 'war zone'. Will the cast members succeed in their life-or-death piranha fishing? The outcome will be revealed in this episode.
'Veteran chef' Choi Hyun-seok will also showcase luxury fine dining in the challenging 'Amazon outdoor kitchen', constantly under attack from swarms of mosquitoes.
He will prepare a special menu featuring the ancient fish 'arapaima gigas', which can grow up to 5 meters long and weigh 200 kg, exclusively found in the Amazon basin. This will be complemented by 'chicken feet stew' and 'stir-fried celeries', creating a perfect fine dining dish.
MC DIN DIN, watching this unfold, declares, "He looks coolest when he's cooking," proudly proclaiming himself a fan of Chef Choi Hyun-seok. Viewers are left wondering what the culinary wonderland created by 'Chef Choi' will look like, transforming the Amazon jungle floor into a 'Han River view restaurant'.
Additionally, 'Jungle Man' Ryu Soo-young is expected to showcase his 'madness' by bare-handedly subduing a live alligator. While the cast members tremble in fear at the sight of the 'top predator' of the Amazon, Ryu Soo-young confidently steps forward and lifts the alligator with one hand. MC Jeon Hyun-moo is left in shock, exclaiming, "Is Ryu Soo-young crazy?!"
Furthermore, he will attempt to cook sweet and sour alligator, showcasing his true culinary skills. Viewers are eager to find out the recipe for Ryu Soo-young's crispy and tender alligator dish that appeals to local tastes, as well as the flavor and texture of the alligator itself.
