[SBS Star] Jung Yong Hwa Shares Why He Flirted (?) with Jung Hae In Using His Juice During Their First Meeting

Actor Jung Hae In shared a funny story about an unexpected "juice flirting" incident during his first meeting with Jung Yong Hwa of K-pop boy band CNBLUE.

On March 6, Jung Hae In appeared on his label mate Jung Yong Hwa's new YouTube show "LP Room."
During their conversation, Jung Yong Hwa recalled, "I still remember my first meeting with you so clearly." He then went on to share the details.

He said, "It was when I had just debuted, and I was super busy. One day, I went to the FNC cafeteria, and I spotted you while I was looking around. I immediately thought, 'That guy is super good-looking! Wow!' So, I went up to you and asked, 'Are you a trainee?' Do you remember? And you were like, 'No, I'm Jung Hae In. I'm an actor. I recently signed with this agency.'" 

Jung Yong Hwa continued, "Then, I asked you, 'Oh, how old are you?' and it turned out you were a year older than me. When you said, 'I was born in 1988,' that's when I started panicking. Because... I just assumed you were a lot younger than I am, and talked to you that way. I felt really bad, so I handed you the juice I had brought for myself."

Jung Hae In burst out laughing and said, "That's why you gave it to me? That was so random!" upon discovering the truth behind the "juice flirting" incident that had stayed a mystery for 12 years.

He added, "At the time, I thought it was really weird when you suddenly handed me the orange juice you brought for yourself, but now I finally understand why, after all these years!"
Later in the conversation, Jung Hae In was asked about his popularity in school.

The actor replied honestly, "I wasn't popular at all. I went to an all-boys school, both middle and high school."

He continued, "When I got to college, where there were both boys and girls, I realized I had to take better care of myself. I lost weight and started paying more attention to what I wore," explaining how his appearance had not been a priority until later in life.
