In the latest episode of 'Buried Hearts,' Park Hyung-sik and Kwon Soo-hyun engage in a heated confrontation in front of Hong Hwa-yeon.

SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Buried Hearts' (written by Lee Myung-hee, directed by Jin Chang-kyu) has been on a roll, breaking its own viewership records for four consecutive episodes. The fourth episode, which aired on March 1, achieved a nationwide rating of 10.2% according to Nielsen Korea, comfortably surpassing the double-digit mark and solidifying its position as the top Friday-Saturday drama. The show's unrelenting success is highly anticipated.

The intense and fast-paced storyline has captivated viewers, with reactions particularly strong for the "jaw-dropping" ending. In the fourth episode, Seo Dong-joo (played by Park Hyung-sik), who was left for dead by Yeom Jang-seon (Heo Jun-ho) and Heo Il-do (Lee Hae-young) but survived with amnesia, has a dramatic reunion with Ye Eun-nam (Hong Hwa-yeon), who chose a political marriage over her love for him, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.

While Ye Eun-nam calls out to Seo Dong-joo with a trembling voice, he fails to recognize her due to his memory loss. Viewers are left wondering whether Seo Dong-joo truly has lost his memory and how the complex emotions of love and betrayal between the two will unfold in future episodes.

On March 6, the production team of 'Buried Hearts' released stills from the upcoming fifth episode, showcasing the tense dynamic between Seo Dong-joo, Ye Eun-nam, and Yeom Hee-cheol (played by Kwon Soo-hyun) right after the fourth episode's cliffhanger.

In the stills, Seo Dong-joo tries to hide his emotions but appears flustered by the unexpected situation. Ye Eun-nam is also confused by Seo Dong-joo's reaction, which is not what she anticipated. Meanwhile, Yeom Hee-cheol, who is married to Ye Eun-nam and has a complicated past with Seo Dong-joo, shows deep anger just by being in the same room with them. The conflicting emotions among the three create a palpable tension that grips the audience.

In a particularly striking image, Yeom Hee-cheol is seen grabbing Seo Dong-joo by the collar, drawing attention. Unlike Yeom Hee-cheol, Seo Dong-joo is trying to remain calm and resolve the situation. However, given their history of clashes even before Seo Dong-joo lost his memory, the tension is at a breaking point. Viewers are left wondering how this encounter will impact the story moving forward.

In relation to this, the production team of 'Buried Hearts' stated, "In the fifth episode airing tomorrow (March 7), Seo Dong-joo, who has lost his memory, will officially re-enter the fray. Whether intentional or not, he will stir up trouble for those surrounding the Dae-san Group." They added, "All the main actors, including Park Hyung-sik, Heo Jun-ho, Lee Hae-young, Hong Hwa-yeon, and Kwon Soo-hyun, will deliver meticulous and detailed performances. We ask for your continued interest and anticipation."

'Buried Hearts' Episode 5 will air on Friday, March 7, at 9:50 PM.
