SBS's 'Jungle Bap 2 - Peru Bap,' premiering on the 27th at 9 PM, captures a 'tasteful' journey that blurs the lines between labor and gourmet dining, as participants dig, catch, and cook in the unknown jungle. Following the success of Season 1, Season 2 returns with a stronger lineup and a diverse array of ingredients, showcasing a grand culinary adventure in 'Peru,' home to the Amazon and highlands, and the 'Dominican Republic,' a paradise of fresh Caribbean seafood.
This season, Ryu Soo-young and top chefs are set to embark on an extreme cooking journey in the heart of the jungle, drawing viewers' attention. Ryu Soo-young and Choi Hyun-seok, each with their unique styles, shared their insights that are sure to stimulate the audience's appetite and curiosity.

First, 'K-Home Cooking Master' Ryu Soo-young expressed, "Cooking together makes things so much easier. Just having someone to help with the shopping is incredibly convenient." He shared his excitement about meeting the chefs this season. "I’ve never received formal culinary training, so I see professional chefs as being on a whole 'another level.' There’s so much I can learn from them. While I enjoy researching recipes that are easy for viewers to replicate at a low cost, the expertise of chefs who have developed their skills for commercial purposes is a whole different world," he noted. Ryu Soo-young added, "Being with professionals will allow me to gain diverse and new perspectives on food," heightening his anticipation for the unique culinary synergy that will unfold in the jungle.

'Famous Chef' Choi Hyun-seok stated, "Ryu Soo-young excels at creating 'soul food' using local ingredients, while I plan to show why a chef is here by presenting a proper meal at least once a day." He hinted at a clear division of roles. "If Earth were to face destruction and we had to migrate to another planet like Mars, there would be essential professions like doctors and scientists. However, to enhance the quality of life for those people, 'chefs' are indispensable," he added. Choi Hyun-seok emphasized, "I want to help people enjoy a truly satisfying meal, not just survive," as he shared his determination for the jungle cooking experience.
With the pioneering 'K-Home Cooking' expert Ryu Soo-young and the fine dining powerhouse Choi Hyun-seok, the anticipation for the unique jungle recipes in 'Jungle Bap 2 - Peru Bap' is building. The show will premiere on the 27th (Thursday) at 9 PM.
