[SBS Star] "It Was So Awkward!" G-DRAGON Recalls a Time When He Accidentally Called Kim Soo Hyun

G-DRAGON of K-pop boy group BIGBANG recalled a time when he accidentally called actor Kim Soo Hyun. 

On February 16, MBC's new television show "Good Day," hosted by G-DRAGON, entertainer Cho Sae-ho, and hip-hop artist CODE KUNST, aired its first episode.

In this episode, the trio went to meet a mysterious person who is good friends with Cho Sae-ho.

On their way to meet him, Cho Sae-ho described this person as someone born in 1988, someone he worked with, and someone who likes to work out during their free time.

As the guessing game got harder, they arrived at a building, and Kim Soo Hyun welcomed them when they rang the doorbell. 

While exchanging greetings, G-DRAGON said, "Earlier, Cho Sae-ho gave us a hint, but I got really confused when he mentioned that you two had worked together."

Cho Sae-ho and Kim Soo Hyun then replied, "We were both in 'My Love from the Star,'" and immediately, G-DRAGON exclaimed, "Ah! The comic book store!"
G-DRAGON then shared the story of how he knows Kim Soo Hyun, saying, "I've actually met Soo Hyun in a casual setting. We exchanged numbers at that time and... I once made a mistake by calling him instead of..." then burst out laughing. 

After calming himself down a bit, G-DRAGON continued, "I accidentally called Soo Hyun this one time. Our company advisor has the same name as him. At this totally random time, I called Soo Hyun and said, 'Advisor, we...,' and Soo Hyun answered with, 'Hello...? Hello?'" 

Kim Soo Hyun added with a laugh, "We talked for about three minutes after that," and G-DRAGON chuckled, saying, "Some really awkward 'haha' went on." 

Then G-DRAGON reminisced about the awkward yet funny conversation they had.

Laughing, he said, "I think I even asked him things like, 'What do you usually do in your free time?' and Soo Hyun said, 'Me...? I like hiking.' I responded, 'Oh, hiking... I'm not really into it, but... I'm sure there's something we can do in the future.'"
