[SBS Star] "Everything About Him..." Hwang In Youp Expresses His Deep Admiration for Zo In Sung

Actor Hwang In Youp referred to another actor Zo In Sung as someone he admires in every aspect—appearance, acting, and career path.

Recently, one fashion magazine released cover photos and interview with Hwang In Youp for its December issue.

During the interview, the conversation touched on his steady career since the drama "True Beauty," with appearances in "The Sound of Magic" and "Why Her." 

Despite staying active with different projects, he has not taken on many projects, prompting the interviewer to ask if he is particularly selective when choosing roles.
Hwang In Youp explained, "The most important thing I consider is the message I can convey through the character. Instead of deliberating alone, I tend to read the scripts with my agency team and exchange opinions." 

He added, "My recent work 'Family by Choice' definitely stood out because the relationships between the characters felt fresh, and it was a genre I hadn't seen before." 

When asked about the message he wanted to convey through his character, Kim San-ha, in "Family by Choice," he said, "Well, I wanted to express feelings like 'I like you' or 'I love you' through just my gaze, without relying on dialogue." 
In response to a question about what kind of actor he wants to become, Hwang In Youp answered without hesitation, "I want to become an actor who can inspire people working in creative fields."

He went on to say, "For me, Zo In Sung is that kind of person. I admire his appearance, acting, and career path. Basically everything about him. I grew up watching his drama 'Love in Bali' during middle school, dreaming of becoming an actor. Maybe not right now, but if even one person someday thinks, 'I want to be like Hwang In Youp,' I'd love to provide them with great ideas and inspiration." 
Hwang In Youp worked as a model before making his acting debut with a web drama "W.H.Y : The Actual Reason Why You Got Dumped" in 2018.
