[SBS Star] VIDEO: Song Joong Ki Shares How Happy He Is to Be Receiving an Award with 2PM JUNHO

Actor Song Joong Ki expressed great happiness about receiving an award alongside JUNHO of K-pop boy group 2PM. 

On September 29, an awards ceremony '2022 APAN STAR AWARDS' took place at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do. 

During the event, JUNHO won 'Best Actor' with his role in MBC's drama 'The Red Sleeve', and Song Joong Ki was seen giving him a big hug as soon as JUNHO's name was announced.

Then at the end of this event, Song Joong Ki took the Grand Prize 'Daesang' home with his acting in tvN's drama 'Vincenzo'. 

After Song Joong Ki received the award, he said through the microphone, "Thank you for inviting me to the awards ceremony today. I thought I wouldn't be that nervous, but I felt really nervous from the moment I sat on my seat." 

He continued, "One of the reasons why I'm even happier right now is the fact that my beloved brother JUNHO and I both received such big awards here today. We've been through a lot together since we made our debut. I personally feel very happy because of that." 

Then, the camera showed JUNHO smiling happily and clapping for Song Joong Ki on his seat, which made the audience go wild and scream at the top of their lungs. 
Following this, Song Joong Ki carried on delivering his acceptance speech, "I met 'Vincenzo' when I had lost my confidence about my own acting, but at the same time, hated going to filming sites; I know that this may sound snobbish, but..." 

He resumed, "'Vincenzo' made me realize that if all our hearts were connected, many of us can work harmoniously with each other." 

Wrapping his speech up, he shared his gratitude and love to his staff, family and friends, then walked down the stage.
