[SBS Star] Park Hae Jin Donates Trees to Improve the Fine Dust Problem

Korean actor Park Hae Jin has donated 20,000 trees to improve the ultra-fine dust issue that many countries around the world are suffering from. 

On March 26, Park Hae Jin left Korea to Beijing, China to plant trees in Fangshan District.

Fangshan District is situated about 38km away from downtown Beijing, and Park Hae Jin has recently donated 20,000 trees to the area in order to prevent the burgeoning issue of ultra-fine dust in the air. In spite of his hectic schedule, the actor insisted on helping out planting the trees himself.

Park Hae Jin will be planting the trees along with his fans.

For this reason, Park Hae Jin will be granted honorary citizenship by Fangshan District.

This will make Park Hae Jin the first Korean star to be awarded honorary citizenship in China for making efforts to better the environment. Park Hae Jin noted, "The problem of ultra-fine dust is getting worse all around the world, and I've realized how important it is to have fresh air to breathe in."

The actor continued, "I hope more people would become aware of this issue." Currently, Park Hae Jin is busy preparing himself for a thriller drama 'Four Men'.
