[SBS Star] Kim Jun Su's Delayed Payment of Insurance Led to the Seizure of His Studio

Kim Jun Su from K-pop boy band JYJ has not payed his insurance fee on the right time that led to the seizure of his studio on January.

According to a source from entertainment industry, the studio owned by Kim Jun Su located in Seoul was on auction in last December in response to the delayed payments of his insurance.

The studio is now owned by the National Health Insurance Service since January 26 as soon as Kim Jun Su has paid the fees.

With the release of the information, Kim Jun Su's agency soon responded, "It happened because Kim Jun Su is currently serving his mandatory military duty as a national police and can't directly get the mails. It was just a simple incident."

His agency added, "Kim Jun Su's legal agent will take actions toward the issue." Yet it is reported that the primary reason why his office was on auction was because Kim Jun Su was accused by a construction firm last December.

At the time in which the firm sued Kim Jun Su, it asked for him to pay the loans, and the court made a decision to make him pay around 3.8 billion won (approximately 3,500 thousand dollars) that could be covered by his studio, priced at 4.8 billion won (approximately 4,700 thousand dollars).

Kim Jun Su reportedly objected to the decision and appealed to the court, but with his delayed payment of the insurance, his studio was soon forced to be on auction.
Meanwhile, Kim Jun Su is currently serving his alternative military duty as a conscripted policeman since February 2017. He is expected to be discharged from the duty in the upcoming November.
