[SBS Star] Red Velvet & Girls' Generation Seohyun to Perform in North Korea

K-pop girl group Red Velvet and Girls' Generation's member Seohyun will be traveling to North Korea to perform their songs along with other renowned K-pop artists.

Recently, it was announced that a group of 160 artists from South Korea will be performing at a concert in Pyongyang, the capital city of North Korea in April.

The line-up includes Red Velvet, Girls' Generation's Seohyun, Baek Z Young, JUNG-IN, ALi, Yoon Do Hyun and Cho Yong Pil. It has been announced that the group of 160 artists will be visiting Pyongyang from March 31 through April 3.

The artists will be performing at East Pyongyang Grand Theatre and Pyongyang Arena, but the exact date of the concert is yet to be confirmed.

Ahead of the event, several South Korean inspectors will visit Pyongyang from March 22 until 24 to assess the stages, props, equipment, and so on. This concert is especially meaningful as it has been 13 years since the last time a group of South Korean artists have performed in Pyongyang in September 2005.
