[SBS Star] GFRIEND's Yerin to Take a Break Due to Her Health Condition

K-pop girl group GFRIEND's member Yerin will be halting her activities temporarily due to her poor health condition.

On September 25, GFRIEND's management agency Source Music released an official statement through GFRIEND's fan community.

The agency stated, "Yerin will temporarily be unable to take part in GFRIEND's activities. During the 'SBS Super Concert in Daejeon', Yerin expressed pain in her stomach. She immediately rushed to the hospital, and she was diagnosed with appendicitis."

They added, "Her condition is not to the point where she needs to undergo surgery as of now, but the doctors informed that she must take some rest as she needs to undergo surgery if her condition worsens. We hope the fans' generous understanding on this decision."
GFRIEND recently made its comeback with a repackaged album 'Rainbow', and actively promoting its title track 'Summer Rain'.
