Actor Han Sang-jin claimed that his close friend, actor Choi Daniel, attempted to resell a costly gift he had given.

Han Sang-jin and Choi Daniel guested on the February 13 episode of the YouTube show 'Pinggyego' and had fun conversations with the hosts, entertainers Yu Jae Seok and Cho Sae-ho.

Cho Sae-ho mentioned that Han Sang-jin is well-known for his generosity, noting that he often shares gifts with acquaintances.

Han Sang-jin said he once bought a padded jacket for a friend of Cho Sae-ho after they complimented the one he was wearing.

"Once, someone said they liked Han Sang-jin's golf club. The next time, he came with a fresh one and offered it to the person as a gift.", Cho Sae-ho remarked.
"Well, I've never received any gift from him.", Choi Daniel remarked, which took Han Sang-jin aback.

"You haven't received anything from me?!", Han Sang-jin exclaimed, reminding Choi Daniel about the expensive sofa he had given him.

"You know what? He listed the sofa on an online resale market! How crazy is that?", Han Sang-jin added, sparking some reactions from the hosts.

"How could you? I won't let you get away with this!", Yu Jae Seok playfully exclaimed to Choi Daniel.
"Okay, let me clarify.", Choi Daniel said.

"First of all, it's true that Han Sang-jin gifted me a sofa worth a million won (approx. 690 dollars) as a housewarming gift."

"Secondly, the issue with the resale market: the sofa has not been listed on the platform yet.", Choi Daniel added.

"But he has been constantly demanding my permission to do so!", Han Sang-jin exposed, bursting into laughter with everyone else.

Choi Daniel continued to explain, "It's been two years since he gifted me the sofa. I accumulated more and more stuff in the meantime, and now my place is packed."

"Though the sofa is very comfortable, it's a little oversized for my space. After thinking a lot about what to do with it, I considered selling it and using the money to treat Han Sang-jin to a delicious meal.", the actor shared.
However, Choi Daniel's clarification was not so appreciated.

"That didn't make anything clearer, though. So, just as Han Sang-jin claimed, you did consider listing it on a resale market!", Yu Jae Seok pointed out.

Choi Daniel then offered a further explanation to his friend, Han Sang-jin.

"I wasn't done. I have never actually listed the sofa on the market! I've been considering another option: giving it to a hoobae of mine. I'm sorry, but there's simply no room for it in my place!"

Cho Sae-ho said he could relate to Choi Daniel's situation: "It's wonderful to receive gifts. However, there are times when one might wish to let go of it due to certain circumstances."
