Facing the Ultimate Humiliation: FC Wonder Woman & FC Gucheok Jangshin Battle to Avoid Last Place on 'Kick a Goal'
Kick a Goal
FC Wonder Woman 2026 and FC Gucheok Jangshin are set to face off in a desperate match to avoid the ultimate disgrace of being branded the "last place" team.

The upcoming episode of SBS's 'Kick a Goal', airing on Wednesday, May 20 at 10:20 PM, will feature the highly anticipated 2nd G-League last-place decider. The two teams fighting to avoid the bottom spot are none other than FC Wonder Woman 2026 and FC Gucheok Jangshin.

Both teams, which were the stars of the 1st G-League finals, have suffered the shocking fate of falling to the bottom of their respective groups this season. Adding to the tension, this rebooted G-League has introduced a brutal and unprecedented rule: the last-place team will be forced to have the word "Last Place" stitched onto their uniforms.

During warm-ups on the day of the match, the players were left in shock after spotting a master tailor with 45 years of experience preparing to stitch the "Last Place" label onto a uniform at the side of the field. So Yu-mi of FC Wonder Woman 2026 expressed her dismay, saying, "I don't think I could ever wear a uniform with 'Last Place' on it," while Lee Hye-jung of FC Gucheok Jangshin reportedly reacted with strong denial, stating, "That is not for us."

FC Wonder Woman 2026 manager Kim Byung-ji, standing on the edge of a cliff, has chosen Kisum as his "winning card" to act as a "goal-scoring goalkeeper." Known as one of South Korea's representative "sweeper keepers," manager Kim has promised a powerful rear-build-up strategy centered around Kisum, who possesses precise footwork.

In addition, the "See-So Combo," consisting of "Demon" Mashima and "Big" Yu-mi (So Yu-mi), will be positioned in the rear to bombard FC Gucheok Jangshin's goal with persistent defense and sharp passing plays. All eyes are on whether FC Wonder Woman can avenge their loss from the 1st G-League finals and successfully escape last place.

Meanwhile, a surprise guest appeared at the stadium to cheer on the struggling FC Wonder Woman, creating a touching moment. Truedy, a former member and spiritual anchor who led the team during its prime, made a surprise visit with her 6-month-old son, Lee Rae-on. With the warm support of an original member, expectations are high on whether FC Wonder Woman can write a dramatic comeback story.

The results of this desperate "last-place escape" battle, where pride is on the line, will be revealed on 'Kick a Goal', airing Wednesday, May 20 at 10:20 PM.
