Singer J.Y. Park is set to take the stage at 'Waterbomb Seoul' for the second year in a row.
On the 6th, the official Waterbomb social media account announced J.Y. Park's appearance with the caption, "All-time legend, you can't miss this! JYP is back." The post further fueled anticipation by adding, "Waterbomb 2026, he returns to the stage."
According to the released poster, J.Y. Park will perform on the TEAM GREEN stage at 'Waterbomb Seoul 2026,' which takes place on July 26.
Last year, J.Y. Park made headlines at Waterbomb with his daring hot pink see-through halter top and plastic pants. At the time, he performed a string of hits including 'Don't Leave Me Don't Leave Me', 'She Was Pretty', 'Honey', 'Who's Your Mama?', and 'When We Disco'. Despite being the oldest performer in the lineup, he was praised for turning the venue upside down with his incredible energy and performance.
Following the event, J.Y. Park appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' and shared behind-the-scenes stories, saying, "I was honestly surprised when I received the offer. I asked my staff first because I was worried it might look like I was trying too hard." He added, "Plastic pants felt too predictable, so I went with hot pink. I chose a halter top because it's hard to dance when clothes get soaked, and I lost 5kg over two weeks specifically for Waterbomb."
This year's Waterbomb Seoul will be held from July 24 to 26 at the outdoor Global Stage at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do. The lineup includes J.Y. Park, Jay Park, TAEMIN, RIIZE, SUNMI, BIBI, KISS OF LIFE, Changmo, Lee Young-ji, SHOWNU X HYUNGWON, Loco, Gray, and more.
