BTS has once again proven their global influence by securing consecutive 'Platinum' certifications in France and Japan.

According to the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP) in France on the 27th, BTS's 5th studio album 'ARIRANG' has received 'Platinum' certification in the album category. This certification is awarded to works that have reached sales of over 100,000 units, combining physical album sales, downloads, and streaming conversion figures.

With this, BTS now holds their fourth 'Platinum' certification for a group album, following 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7', 'Proof', and 'LOVE YOURSELF : ANSWER'. Notably, 'ARIRANG' set a new personal record for the fastest achievement, reaching 'Platinum' status in about one month after receiving 'Gold' certification just 6 days after its release.

Meaningful achievements also continued in Japan. According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan, 'Let Go', a track from BTS's 3rd Japanese studio album 'FACE YOURSELF', has surpassed 100 million cumulative streams, earning 'Platinum' certification. This marks BTS's 17th 'Platinum' certification in Japan, further extending their record for the most certifications held by a K-Pop artist.

The new album 'ARIRANG' is also showing strong performance in Japan. The album surpassed 750,000 cumulative shipments, earning 'Triple Platinum' certification, and achieved this milestone just 11 days after its release, proving its immense popularity in the region.

BTS is currently continuing their global activities through a North American tour. Having kicked off 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN NORTH AMERICA' at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on the 25th (local time), the group is scheduled to hold a total of 31 performances across 12 cities, including Mexico City, Las Vegas, and Chicago. All shows have sold out, drawing an enthusiastic response.

This world tour is expected to be the largest in history for a single tour by a Korean artist, with a total of 85 shows planned across 34 cities. With additional performances in Japan and the Middle East already announced, the scale of the tour is expected to expand even further.
