Signs that the group NewJeans is preparing for a return to activities overseas have been captured, fueling rumors of a comeback.
Recently, a document appearing to be a booking record for a recording and mixing studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, has been circulating on online communities. The document shows that a studio was booked under the name 'ADOR' from the 13th to the 16th, leading to speculation that NewJeans may have been working on new music.
In fact, members HAERIN, HYEIN, and HANNI were spotted staying in Copenhagen with staff during that same period, drawing attention. ADOR also confirmed, "The members visited Copenhagen with staff."
Furthermore, the resumption of activity on their official social media accounts is adding weight to the possibility of a comeback. On the 20th, behind-the-scenes photos of HYEIN were posted on the official NewJeans account. It is the first time in about 6 months, since last October, that content related to individual members has been posted, and it is being interpreted as a signal for the resumption of activities.
However, variables regarding the team's composition still remain. The NewJeans members began the process of returning after the court recognized the validity of their exclusive contracts. While the return of HAERIN, HYEIN, and HANNI is considered certain, whether MINJI will join them remains unclear.
ADOR has filed a lawsuit for damages of approximately 43 billion KRW against DANIELLE and her family, as well as former CEO Min Hee-jin, on the grounds that they caused harm to NewJeans' activities.
