Comedian Jung Jun-ha is receiving renewed attention for his past acts of kindness.
Recently, clips from his appearance on "Star Special Lecture Show" have resurfaced across online communities and social media, along with comments sharing stories about his generosity.
In a 2011 broadcast, the younger sister of a cancer patient whom Jung had supported in the past appeared and said, “Thanks to the money Jung Jun-ha donated, my brother was able to receive treatment. I’ve always wanted to thank him in person.” She added, “My brother has since passed away, but my parents are still deeply grateful.”
More recently, additional stories about Jung’s kindness have continued to emerge in the comments of that video.
One commenter wrote, “Thank you, Jun-ha. He also helped support a child we knew. A bone marrow transplant is very expensive, and after the family had already spent everything they had, the illness relapsed and they needed another procedure. The person the hospital connected them with was Jung Jun-ha. When the child briefly improved, we wanted to thank him and even went to his restaurant, but he was busy at the time. The child has since passed away, but we are truly grateful.”
Meanwhile, "Star Special Lecture Show" is a program where notable figures in South Korea share honest stories based on their life experiences. In his episode, Jung Jun-ha spoke candidly about his life, resonating deeply with viewers.
