Park Wi and Song Ji-eun will take part in the "2026 Weracle Walk".

International child development organization Compassion announced, “On May 30, at Peace Plaza in Peace Park, Sangam, Seoul, we will host the '2026 Weracle Walk', a charity walk for sharing through walking.”

"Weracle Walk" is a participatory walking campaign launched by creator “Weracle” (Park Wi) in 2023 to share messages of hope and courage. All funds raised through the event are donated to children suffering from poverty around the world. The event is co-hosted by Weracle, Compassion Korea, and the CHERRY donation platform (CHERRY).

This year’s "2026 Weracle Walk" teams up with Compassion Korea ambassadors Park Wi and Song Ji-eun to support children in Kenya who are facing a severe water crisis.

Under the slogan “We’ll Walk For Your Tomorrow!”, participants will start at Peace Plaza in World Cup Park (Sangam) and walk a roughly 7 km course that connects Haneul Park and Noeul Park. There will be two offline course options: 3.5 km and 7 km. The 7 km route symbolizes the average distance Kenyan children walk daily to fetch water.

The event is barrier-free and open to everyone, regardless of disability or age. Wheelchair and stroller users can join as well. Those who can’t attend on-site can participate “on-tact” by walking anywhere nationwide and verifying their participation.

All donations collected will fund well drilling and hygiene education systems at five Compassion child centers in Kenya. Approximately 1,500 children and local residents are expected to gain stable access to clean drinking water.

Registration is open until May 28 via the official Compassion Korea website and the blockchain-based donation platform CHERRY. A total of 2,500 participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (2,000 offline and 500 on-tact). You can choose between “General Participation” and “Special Participation,” which includes a 1:1 child sponsorship. All participants will receive commemorative rewards, and Special Participants will get additional perks such as Weracle Factory special goods.

Compassion Korea ambassador Park Wi said, “The reality of Kenyan children walking 7 km every day for a single cup of water carries even deeper meaning for me. Just as Weracle Walk believes that our steps together can create miracles, I hope these steps we take on their behalf become life-giving hope that helps children grow up healthy.”

Seo Jung-in, CEO of Compassion Korea, said, “We’re especially grateful to host this event with ambassadors Park Wi and Song Ji-eun, who have consistently shared positive influence. We ask for your warm interest and participation in this miraculous journey to change the lives of children in Kenya.”

Meanwhile, Compassion is an international child development organization that connects children suffering from poverty across 29 countries with sponsors and supports their holistic growth (intellectual, socio-emotional, physical, and spiritual) until they become self-reliant adults.
