Actor Krystal shared why she signed on for the film ‘Audition 109.’
At the press screening and Q&A for ‘Audition 109’ held on the afternoon of the 16th at CGV Yongsan in Seoul, Jung was asked what drew her to the project. “I really enjoyed the 2009 film ‘Wish,’ so I was curious about a sequel. When the offer came, the script was a fun read, and I wanted to try acting alongside senior actor Jung Woo, so I decided to join,” she said.
‘Audition 109’ is a lively, high-heat drama about ‘Jjanggu’ (Jung Woo), a self-proclaimed audition genius who keeps getting knocked down but stands back up with one dream: becoming an actor. It continues the story from the 2009 film ‘Wish,’ following Jjanggu’s pursuit of his acting dreams.
In the new film, Krystal plays Min-hee, Jjanggu’s girlfriend, showcasing her signature urban charm.
The film opens on the 22nd.
