The April 12 episode posted a 1.8% 20-49 rating in the Seoul metropolitan area (Nielsen Korea, household metric), ranking first among variety shows in its time slot. The peak minute rating spiked to 5.2%.
Titled “Betting 101: The Gambler’s Choice,” the race welcomed guests Hwa Sa of MAMAMOO and Young K of DAY6. The two kicked things off with charismatic performances that had everyone cheering, then quickly switched into full-on variety mode once the games began, serving plenty of laughs.
The first race, the “Kim Jong-kook Game,” forced teams to power through three brutal penalties to claim a cash prize. Even shocking electric gloves made an appearance. Yoo Jae-suk’s team took the win.
Next up was the “HAHA Game.” Split into Team HAHA, Team Hwa Sa, and Team Young K, members faced a hilarious dilemma: mouthwatering food sat right in front of them, but a “points deducted if you taste your penalty-number dish” rule kept them from digging in freely.
The final challenge was the “Yoo Jae-suk Game,” a tough mission where players had five seconds to ad-lib words based on given initial consonants. In a late-game surge, “Ad-lib Ji” Ji Seok-jin outplayed Kim Jong-kook, handing Yoo Jae-suk’s team a loss.
In the end, Ji Seok-jin claimed overall victory, while Yoo Jae-suk finished last. As penalty winners, Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Jong-kook, and Hwa Sa delivered a step-by-step makeover punishment that left viewers in stitches.
