Weathercaster-turned-“climate caster” Jung Joo-hee’s plogging project “Unjupgging” is celebrating its second anniversary. The eco-minded series has steadily drawn attention for consistent, real-world action―and this time, actor Lee Seo-jeong will join as a special guest.

The 13th “Unjupgging” event on the 4th will commemorate the project’s two-year milestone. Organizers teased it as “the first page of Unjupgging restarting in 2026,” adding that it’s been prepared as a “special back-to-school-style kickoff” for its second birthday.

Notably, actor Lee Seo-jeong, formerly of the group Weki Meki, will take part. Lee shared that she “really wanted to plog with fans at least once,” which led to her decision to join. Her heartfelt participation is expected to add meaning to the event.

Because this is a second-anniversary special, participants who bring empty cosmetic containers can experience a treat: refills with new product at the Aromatica Refill Station.

Former SBS weathercaster Jung Joo-hee earned a Green Influencer certification in 2022 and began full-scale work in the environmental space. Calling herself a “climate caster,” she breaks down topics like zero waste, recycling, endocrine disruptors, and microplastics on social media and YouTube in easy-to-understand ways.

Defined as “a place to expand the territory of good luck,” Unjupgging focuses on shifting mindsets through small, everyday actions. Her message―“It doesn’t have to be flashy; what matters is doing what’s needed”―has resonated and inspired steady participation.
