On the March 29 episode of SBS’s "Running Man", Sung Si-kyung and Lee Chang-sub joined the members for the “You Must Want to Eat” race.
In a dessert mission, whether the members got to eat was decided by which foot they stepped in with first. A member who’d had zero food luck all day finally scored a meal, while Yoo Jae-suk, who’d been lucky from the start, even got dessert.
The members who missed out tried to win a butter rice cake with their best aegyo. Ji Seok-jin’s “60th-birthday-level” aegyo shocked everyone, and the others ended up giving him the butter rice cake.
For the last remaining butter rice cake, Sung Si-kyung tried aegyo again―then laughed at himself, saying, “Seventy percent of my memes come from SBS.”
Next up was a final mission with samgyeopsal on the line. The teams shopped along a toy street, and the outcome hinged on what they bought.
In the “build the tallest tower” challenge, Ji Seok-jin’s team felt confident after picking bulky items.
Ji Seok-jin, HAHA, and Yang Se-chan chanted, “Power, Speed, Technique, Cross,” and even asked for CG effects, cracking everyone up.
Even after two teams had finished, Yoo Jae-suk’s team kept stacking their tower. Other members grumbled, “If you give this much time, I could build two floors. Didn’t Si-kyung complain earlier that we had to hurry?”
Sung Si-kyung snapped back jokingly, “Who says that kind of thing on a major network show?”
After all the missions, the winner and the penalty-takers were chosen by draw. HAHA, who’d been starving all day, pulled off a solo win for the first time in four years.
Overwhelmed, HAHA said, “Everyone, don’t give up until the end. Korea, fighting.”
For the penalty, Kim Jong-kook and Ji Ye-eun had to eat a whole lemon. Ji Ye-eun said it wouldn’t be hard since she often drinks lemon water, but the struggle was real―she ended up making her own lemon water on the spot.
