The film "The King's Warden" has crossed the 15 million mark.

Distributor Showbox announced on the 25th that the movie topped a cumulative 15,000,000 admissions this afternoon, its 50th day in theaters.

"The King's Warden" has climbed to No. 3 on the all-time box office chart, overtaking "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" (14.41 million). With today’s milestone, it’s chasing "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" (17.61 million) at No. 1 and "Extreme Job" (16.26 million) at No. 2.

In its eighth week, the film is still drawing around 70,000 viewers per day, making it likely to surpass "Extreme Job"’s total. If the momentum holds, it could even challenge "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" for the top spot. In terms of revenue, it has already outgrossed both films to rank No. 1 all-time.

Set in 1457 in Cheongnyeongpo, the story follows a village head who chooses exile to revive his community and a young former king forced off the throne. Directed by Jang Hang-jun and starring Yoo Hae-jin, Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Ji-tae, and Jeon Mi-do.
