Singer Sung Si-kyung (46) revealed he lost 10 kilograms over about two months.
Posting on his social media, Sung shared, “I started at 95 kilograms on January 6 and lost 10 kilograms over about two months.” On how he did it, he said, “I didn’t log my nighttime cardio―an hour of walking and running―but during filming periods I trained three times a day,” adding, “For the first month, my meals were mostly eggs, sweet potatoes, halibut sashimi, plus supplements.”
He continued, “I’d been on the chubbier side for too long, and at my age I was offered a cosmetics modeling job, so I felt a sense of responsibility. I treated it as a great opportunity and worked hard.” Addressing fans’ concerns about his health, he added, “I was the one who hadn’t been well―now I’m at a normal weight for the first time. I’ll take even better care of my body and mind going forward.”
According to the shared body composition readout, Sung stands 187.6 cm tall, weighs 86.1 kg, and has a BMI of 24.46―within the “normal weight” range.
Meanwhile, his recent magazine pictorial drew buzz for a sharp jawline and a sleek suit fit. He’s set to meet viewers as MC of KBS 2TV’s "The Seasons," premiering on the 27th.
