Actors Seol Kyung-gu, Jeon Jong-seo, and Seo Eun-su are set to start filming the new project "Rocks" (literal title) from the team behind "Exhuma".
On the 12th, distributor Ace Maker Movie Works dropped stills from the script reading. The photos capture the trio’s chemistry, almost like they’re already on set.
"Rocks" is an occult mystery that digs into the secret of a massive, mystical rock deep in the mountains said to “grant what you ask.” It reunites the creative team behind "Exhuma", which surpassed 10 million moviegoers in 2024.
Seol Kyung-gu plays Eulseok, a shaman hiding a secret. This marks his first-ever dive into the occult genre, hinting at a bold transformation we haven’t seen from him before. Opposite him, Jeon Jong-seo takes on the role of Hee-jin, who investigates the mystery that begins consuming her family after the death of her younger sibling, Hee-seon.
Seo Eun-su portrays Hee-nam, who joins her older sister Hee-jin in questioning Hee-seon’s death and chasing the truth. She is expected to heighten the immersion with tightly wound emotions and an icy presence.
With its fresh casting and intriguing mystery, "Rocks" begins principal photography on Thursday, March 12, kicking off its long journey.
