Ahead of Episode 9 on the 19th, the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘No Tail to Tell’ (written by Park Chan-young and Jo Ah-young, directed by Kim Jung-kwon) revealed a peek at Eun-ho’s breathless day as she transforms into a hustle-for-survival part-timer.
In the last episode, Eun-ho and Kang Si-yeol (Lomon) stumbled into dating. After Eun-ho’s blunt “Since I’m human now, I might as well try dating you,” Si-yeol’s answer hardly mattered. The two dove into cliche, textbook couple dates―on purpose. When Eun-ho said even holding hands didn’t make her heart race, Si-yeol stole a kiss to prove how he really feels.
As their two-way romance promises butterflies, the new stills capture Eun-ho slamming into real-world struggles. She’s lost all her gumiho powers and money, while Kang Si-yeol’s fate swap with his friend Hyun Woo-seok (Jang Dong-ju) has left them strapped for cash. To ditch the broke life, Eun-ho jumps into the grind in Si-yeol’s place. Clutching a pen and hitting the job hunt hard, her eyes are full of unexpected drive and confidence.
It pays off―Eun-ho lands a gig and clocks in at a neighborhood mart. Her first task as a rookie? Handing out flyers in a full mascot suit. With passersby brushing past without a glance, you can practically see her face turning red and blue inside the costume. Before long, she’s “demoted” to the sample station and then the checkout counter, teasing a day that’s equal parts funny and painfully relatable.
The production team teased, “Episode 9 kicks off the official romance for ‘Ho-Gang couple’ Eun-ho and Kang Si-yeol. As malicious interference and unexpected misfortune keep coming for them, watch to see if their happiness can last.”
Episode 9 of ‘No Tail to Tell’ airs Friday, Feb. 20, at 9:50 p.m.
