J-HOPE gave 200 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center. The funds will go toward improving treatment facilities and the medical environment for pediatric and adolescent patients, supporting at-home care for critically ill children, and operating psychological healing programs. He also delivered a 100 million won scholarship to students at his alma mater through ChildFund Korea.
He extended his giving to animals as well. Adding his own money to proceeds from the “HUMAN HOPE: A JOOPITER Special” auction featuring his collaboration with Human Made, he donated 50 million won to animal protection organizations. The funds will support the activities of “Dongmul Gujo 119” and “Nae Sarang Badugi with Companion Animals.”
Through BIGHIT MUSIC, J-HOPE said, “I’m grateful I could share in a meaningful way for my birthday. I wanted to offer even a small boost to children receiving treatment, students chasing their dreams, and animals in need of protection. Thanks to ARMY, who always send so much love and birthday wishes, I was able to do something good. I hope 2026 is a hopeful and warm year for everyone.”
J-HOPE has steadily continued his philanthropy, with cumulative donations of 500 million won to Seoul Asan Medical Center. At ChildFund Korea, he was listed in the “Green Noble Trinity Club,” a high-value donor group for those who have contributed 1 billion won or more.
