Epik High member DJ Tukutz opened up about a past stalking incident.
On the 5th, Epik High’s YouTube channel posted a video titled “Spilling the Story of a Stalker Breaking Into Tukutz’s House ft. Korean-Style Pork Cutlet.” In the clip, the members visit a pork cutlet spot near Munbae-dong, Seoul, where they lived together in their late 20s, and reminisce about the past.
Tablo said, “While living together in this neighborhood, we wrote songs like ‘Umbrella’ and ‘One.’” DJ Tukutz shared that he recently completed a move and felt relieved. Tablo then joked, “Why did you move just around the corner? Are you on the run? Is there someone you’re avoiding?”
DJ Tukutz replied, “This is a bit TMI, but there was an unidentified intruder. The police ended up catching them,” surprising the members. Keeping it calm about the potentially serious situation, he described the suspect simply as “just a person.”
Tablo quipped, “I heard they looked like Mithra Jin,” and DJ Tukutz shot back, “How did you know?” Mithra Jin piled on with a joke: “I went to the police station a few days ago. I got caught trying to go in to give you a Christmas present.”
DJ Tukutz wrapped it up with a laugh: “I’ll put plenty of money in your commissary.”
