Girl group KATSEYE lit up America’s signature late-night talk show with their many-sided charm.

KATSEYE appeared on NBC’s "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Feb. 5 KST. Introducing them, Jimmy Fallon said the group was named TikTok’s Artist of the Year and scored two Grammy nominations.

Thunderous applause followed. The six members walked out in elegant long dresses, each with a distinct style. Leader Sophia said, “We’re a global girl group built on K-pop training methodology. It’s such an honor to be on The Tonight Show.”

Looking at photos from KATSEYE’s appearance at the Grammys on Feb. 2 local time, Fallon marveled, “You look like superheroes.” The group hit the stage as Best New Artist nominees and earned cheers for a fierce performance of Gnarly with a hard-hitting dance break.

“We were so nervous with so many top artists watching―Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Bad Bunny, and more,” the members recalled. Youngest member Yoonchae shared, “I’ve been a BLACKPINK fan since I was 9. When I ran into ROSÉ, I was so nervous I could barely speak and greeted her in English. She asked if I could speak Korean. She was so kind.”

The Super Bowl also came up. KATSEYE will appear in a campaign ad for the global insurance brand State Farm airing during the NFL championship broadcast on Feb. 9 local time.

“The Grammys are huge, but the Super Bowl might be even bigger,” Fallon noted, highlighting the moment’s scale. Last year’s Super Bowl drew about 127.7 million viewers across TV and streaming in the U.S. Smiling at the comment, the members quipped, “And now we’ve made it to The Tonight Show,” keeping the vibe warm and witty.

The studio hit a fever pitch when KATSEYE performed choreography from the ad. In high heels and dresses, all six members delivered razor-sharp, in-sync moves to a live band. Fans packed into the audience rose to their feet and clapped along, creating a standout moment on screen.

“We’ve got a lot planned this year,” the members teased, sending fans into a frenzy. As hints for new music, they dropped keywords like “colorful,” “energetic,” “hot,” “fun,” and “fierce,” plus a playful tea-sipping gesture to spark curiosity.

The global response was instant. Shorts and clips of their segment flooded YouTube and social platforms. Fans commented, “How can you not love these girls?” and “Their honest, bubbly charm is everything.” Many added, “Can’t wait for the new song.”

Formed through the audition project "The Debut: Dream Academy," KATSEYE is cited as a prime example of Bang Si-hyuk and HYBE’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy. The group is nominated in four categories at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in March and is set to take the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
