Park Hae-joon Is a Prince on "Whenever Possible" ― Until the Games Begin
Whenever Possible
On SBS’s variety show 'Whenever Possible,' Park Hae-joon gets a jolt of pure adrenaline.

In the Feb. 3 episode, co-hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok team up with Jo In-sung and Park Jung-min in Seoul’s Gangdong District for a high-energy outing packed with dopamine hits.

Park first surprises everyone with his unexpectedly pampered side. Yoo Jae-suk jokes that, unlike his gritty on-screen image, Park “never really struggled,” teasing that he once even had help from his parents with a rental deposit ― “a total pampered prince.” Park waves it off, but when the bus wait runs long, he casually suggests, “Let’s just grab a taxi,” sending Yoo into laughter. Even walking, Park insists on sticking to the sunny side of the street ― “It’s warm over here!” ― prompting Yoo to crack, “See? He’s a prince through and through.”

But the “prince” flips the switch the moment the games start. Despite introducing himself as a newbie ― “I’m not great at games” ― Yoo Yeon-seok predicts he’ll transform once the competition kicks in. Sure enough, Park’s voice shoots up a notch and he dives in with over-the-top reactions, fully locked in. At one point, he gasps, “I’m so worked up ― I need an ice-cold drink!” turning the set into a laugh riot as he barrels into full-on runaway-train mode.

Will the 'prince' power through and chase that dopamine high to the end? Park Hae-joon’s break from “gentle prince” to game-day beast unfolds on 'Whenever Possible,' airing Tuesday at 9 p.m. KST on SBS.
