On the Jan. 27 episode, co-hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok hit the streets of Bongcheon-dong with guests Lee Sun-bin and Kim Young-dae for a high-energy day out.
Kim, clearly thrilled to be teaming up with variety legends Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, shares how he recently became a full-on fanboy of Lee Kwang-soo. “I ran into Kwang-soo hyung a few days ago and couldn’t stop laughing. Even when he just asked, ‘Did you just laugh?’ I lost it,” Kim recalls, cracking himself up all over again.
Yoo Jae-suk plays it proud, joking, “Kwang-soo learned that from me.” Lee Sun-bin―who’s publicly dating Lee Kwang-soo―backs him up with a laugh: “It’s true. He picked up all his timing from Jae-suk.” Cue a lively round of Kwang-soo stories, even without the man himself in the mix.
The group discovers another unexpected link: they’re all Year of the Rat. Yoo Jae-suk (born in 1972), Yoo Yeon-seok (1984), and Kim Young-dae (1996) form a three-generation “Rat-line.” “We’ve got all three generations right here,” Yoo Yeon-seok marvels, dubbing Jae-suk the eldest rat and Young-dae the youngest. The newly minted “Rat Brothers” proceed to show off their quick reflexes―especially during the show’s quick-hit missions―raising curiosity about their on-screen synergy.
Catch the Rat-line chemistry and more when "Whenever Possible" airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. KST on SBS.
