Director Ryoo Seung-wan’s latest feature "HUMINT" will screen in Dolby Atmos.
Set in the ice-cold port city of Vladivostok―where secrets and truths alike sink beneath the frigid sea―"HUMINT" follows a clash of players with competing agendas. The film stars Jo In-sung, Park Jung-min, Park Hae-joon, and Shin Sae-kyoung.
Arriving as a prime Lunar New Year season pick, "HUMINT" is mixed in next-gen immersive audio with Dolby Atmos, wrapping audiences in three-dimensional sound. From brutal close-quarters combat to white-knuckle standoffs, the Atmos mix aims to put viewers in the thick of the action for a you-are-there intensity that boosts the overall big-screen experience.
A newly released poster spotlights key players: NIS section chief Cho (Jo In-sung), North Korea’s Ministry of State Security operative Park Geon (Park Jung-min), Consul General Hwang Chi-sung (Park Hae-joon), and North Korean restaurant worker Chae Sun-hwa (Shin Sae-kyoung). Their intersecting motives―and what each wants from Sun-hwa―set the stage for intrigue. "HUMINT" opens in theaters on February 11.
