Things get playful when Yoo and SULLYOON square off for the “Who Knows Daejeon Best?” crown. Born and raised in the city, SULLYOON wears the nickname “Daejeon’s Daughter” with pride. HAEWON even jokes that the city’s “Big Three” are Sungsimdang bakery, KAIST―and SULLYOON. But after four years living in Seoul, SULLYOON admits she’s a little out of the loop on the latest local hot spots. Sensing an opening, Yoo―who’s been visiting Daejeon frequently―teases, “I might know this city better than you now,” kicking off a friendly war of words.
To defend her hometown honor, SULLYOON drops a personal hit list of Daejeon’s best knife-cut noodle joints. Come lunchtime, she declares herself “SULLYOON GPS” and leads the way―only to find each spot packed with locals. “This wait is next level,” groans Yoo as lines stretch out the door. Unfazed, SULLYOON unveils a Plan C that ends up winning over both spontaneous-adventure guy Yoo Jae-suk and foodie co-host Yoo Yeon-seok.
